Pay rate starting at $15/hrJob SummaryAs a Guest Experience Coordinator, you thrive on engaging with guests, creating extraordinary outdoor experiences, and being a brand ambassador for Under Canvas.
This is a seasonal, hourly position that includes an option for housing.
ResponsibilitiesAssist other employees in the department with completion of dutiesDemonstrate the stamina to work long hours in varying weather conditionsAbility to execute and balance multiple priorities, all while positively engaging with on-site guests and upcoming arrivalsEffectively coordinate and execute tasks cross-departmentally including but not limited to, Guest Experience, Front Desk, Adventures, Food and Beverage, GroupsWelcome guests as they arrive, confirm their on-site activities, and set the tone for the duration of their stayShare passion, knowledge, and recommendations for activities and attractions to experience in the local communityDemonstrate the ability to problem solve independently or in collaboration with your team and/or supervisorEagerly seek opportunities to ensure guests' requests have been fulfilled in a timely and efficient mannerCultivate and share resources and leads with your supervisor for departmental growthConduct on-site activities consisting of but not limited to stargazing, nature walks, yoga, live music, special events (ie group events and holiday themed activities)Ensure all events and adventures are well attended and receivedStrive for excellence in guest experience across all departmental priorities (adventures, on-site activities, retail & equipment rentals)Share passion, knowledge, and recommendations for activities and attractions to experience in the local communityDemonstrate accountability camp; diligence with all associated prioritiesContribute and assist teammates on-site to maintain high standards of camp operationsParticipate in weekly and daily meetings to ensure the GECs as well as the Front Desk team are well informed about activities offered on site as well as off site, upcoming events or groups, and any other special events or arrivalsWork efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining high standardsDiligently communicate with supervisor on any pending priorities and immediate concernsCompetenciesEffective CommunicationAdaptagilityInformation ManagementBusiness Needs AnalysisTraining OthersAttention to DetailPlanning and OrganizingEducationHave obtained a High School (High school diploma) Diploma or GEDWorking ConditionsAbility to work outdoors for long periods of time, including during extreme heat and cold or weather eventsAbility to lift 30lbs independently; all lifts over 50 lbs.
