Shuttle Driver

Job SummaryAs a Shuttle Driver for Under Canvas, your role is to transport team members to and from their housing to the camp location and various locations as needed.
The Shuttle Driver position will also be trained in operational tasks and assist with on property duties as needed.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and provide safe and comfortable scheduled transportation for team members.
During times when the shuttle is not needed, you will assist the housekeeping team in their responsibilites.
The schedule for this position will vary from week to week depending on business needs.
This is a seasonal, hourly position, and includes the option for housing during duration of employment.
ResponsibilitiesInteract regularly with co-workers and guests in a genuine, professional manner.
Report concerns that need attention to the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely manner.
Demonstrate the ability to problem solve independently or in collaboration with your team and/or supervisor.
Eagerly seek opportunities to ensure guests' requests have been fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.
Take pride in following protocol by meticulously and consistently ensuring our tents are clean, well-stocked, and ready to welcome our guests.
This includes changing bedding with fresh linens, sweeping floors, sanitizing the personal space, dusting, and organizing.
Maintain composure under pressure (traffic, road detours, delays).
Operate the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
Evaluate area traffic and identify most efficient route while transporting employees.
Work with facilities leadership to ensure regular maintenance and safety checks are being performed on vehicle.
Keep company vehicles clean and in good condition.
Focus on safety and awareness of surroundings.
Act as a support role for all operation departments in between shuttle periods.
