Job SummaryAs a Housekeeping Inspector you play an important role in creating a memorable first impression for our guests from the moment, they enter their tent.
Known for providing guests with a glamping experience that includes all the comforts and luxury of home, your role is to ensure our tent accommodations are clean, well-maintained, replenished with consumables, and ready for our guests to enjoy their stay.
Assign tasks and supervise two shuttle/housekeeping team members.
You will partner closely with the Assistant General Managers, and our team members to ensure our housing units are within company policy.
You will drive a company vehicle (generally a van) and create a comfortable and clean transportation environment.

This is a seasonal, hourly position and includes employee housing for the duration of employment.
ResponsibilitiesInteract regularly with co-workers and guests in a genuine, professional manner.
Report concerns that need attention to the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely manner.
Oversee laundry activity duties and responsibilities as needed.
Demonstrate the ability to problem solve independently or in collaboration with your team and/or supervisor.
Eagerly seek opportunities to ensure guests have everything they need.
Take pride in following protocol by meticulously and consistently ensuring our tents are clean, well-stocked, and ready to welcome our guests.
This includes sometimes assisting Housekeeping with a few minor touch ups in a tent.
Work effectively with a team of housekeepers, under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, to ensure all tasks are successfully completed.
Assisting Housekeeping team on a day-to-day basis.
Inspect housing per Under Canvas housing policy that depicts housing expectations, lines of communication, and general property information.
Proactively coordinate housing assignments for team members throughout the season.
Work with the AGM to ensure housing is ready for new employees, room assignments are completed before employee arrival, and that housing to held to Under Canvas housing expectation and conditions of cleanliness.
Follow through on commitments and take action to solve problems as needed.
Identify and address maintenance needs.
Follow maintenance plan prepared by AGM; assign tasks to Housekeeper/Shuttle drivers.
Proactively develop a Shuttle schedule that includes laundry trips, grocery trips, and National Park exploration trips.
Schedule and execute monthly housing inspections with report to AGM and HR Property Manager.
Ensure the shuttle van is in good condition.
